Help: Waiting on boot?

I downloaded some image and i'm trying it on my toshiba laptop . It has a celeron m 1.4 processor and 2 gigs of ram. I Believe the model is L25-1996) or something along those lines (L25 series). I got the image(kelway 1.5.2) and i booted onto it and I got the message: waiting on boot, and also that the keyboard timed out. When i used the command -F , it got the apple screen but then it got stuck in a error in the middle of the screen ( / ). Here's a screen shot, thanks for reading
