meowmix111 Posted April 25, 2009 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Hi everyone, this is my first try on installing osx86 on my pc. Im having problems when booting from dvd. It says something about appleusbehci unable to get filterinterrupteventsource.. then it says unable to initialize uim.. I tried various settings on bios turning on,off,auto for legacy USB, changing acpi to disabled or enabled, etc but still im getting that usberror. I tried to search for several days and couldnt find any solution for this. I stumbled on http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117029 but the drivers for usb are KEXT. Im not sure how to patch my iso to include those KEXT and ive read somewhere that patches are in the form of ppf files, not kext..
