anhkhoi
Hi all you guru, I had successfully installed iDeneb v1.4_10.5.6 on my system. The installation was smooth. When I reboot the computer, it hang at white apple screen with the spinning circle. If I boot with options, it hang at "using 16394 buffer header ...." However, if I boot from the installation DVD with the option rd=disk1s1 then it would boot into the welcome screen and everything runs normally. I can mount dmg, can safari ect.. There must be something in the installed DVD that does not get install onto my hard drive. Don't know what My configuration: Motherboard : G33T-M2 v1 CPU : C2D 7200 @2.53 GHz Chipset G33/ICH9 RAM : OCZ 4GB (2 sticks) HDD0 : 300 GB SATA HDD1 : 300 GB SATA (where MAC is installed) DVD : SATA lite On Video : nVidia 9600 GT 512 MB Audio : ALC883 HD Ethernet: Realtek 8111 ACPI is enable , SATA is set to compatibility in bios I have tried: #1: ACPI fix CPUS=1-fix ICHx fix Default kernel no Audio no Ethernet no Video #2: ACPI fix CPUS=1-fix ICHx fix Default kernel no Audio no Ethernet NVinject 512MB #3: ACPI fix CPUS=1-fix ICHx fix 9.5 Kernel with seatbelt no Audio no Ethernet NVDarwin #4: ACPI fix CPUS=1-fix ICHx fix 9.2 Kernel no Audio no Ethernet NVDarwin Try #2 with all NVidia combination (one at a time), with and without ACPI fix Try #3 with all NVidia combination (one at a time), with and without ACPI fix , with all kernel combination with and without seatbelt (one at a time) All same result. I can run my OSx by booting from install DVD but I would very much want to know why it is not running from the HDD Any idea is appreciate. TIA Problem solved.
