In advance, i'm from italy so forgive me for my bad english.

I also ask to forgive me if such a thread had been created previously.

I'd just like to share with the community my succesfull instalation of ideneb 1.4 on my P5KC with q9300 ex-win desk.

 

No headache, fully restart and shutdown

 

My specs: Mobo asus p5kc, cpu q9300 (2,5x4 quad core), emu 0202 audiocard, wireless wg111v2, ethernet attansic gigabit (onboard), 4 Gb ram 800 ddr2, ati hd4850

 

Selected features on ideneb 1.4: Driver: ichx fixed, jmicronata;

Attansic.

Fix: native acpi kernel, openhalrestart from psystar, bios 800

 

The video kext for ati are the one modded by iatkos, just plug a dvi-vga adaptor in the first plug (the one nearest to the mobo) and your monitor dvi to the second plug and it'll works just fine, with accellerations and so on.

For audio and wireless just used the manufacturers ones.

On xbench i scored a respectably 250 overall score, with logic 8.02 it works flawlessy with heavy audio units (vsti for windows user) load.

I'm so happy with my "would-be mac pro" and i would thanks the support this has given me in discoverin' and installin such a new "mac" world.
