DjNels Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 I have an average grade laptop I will be using to stream video content. While doing this, my CPU usage sits around 70-80%, which seems high. It has 512mb ram, and I see that while streaming, I only have 10-20mb of physical memory available. My question is, if I upgrade to 1GB of ram (which I have ordered), do you think my CPU usage will then lower as well? I'm not quite sure how it works, I thought maybe it is relying on the CPU more because of the RAM deficiency. Thanks!
