ReMarkAble
So it's a Core2 Duo setup on a Biostar P4M900 Micro 775, running iDeneb 1.4. I used the Via Rhine driver and the Via chipset driver and everything is flawless except for the dropped connection (an that it freezes when it goes to sleep, but I turned that off). What happens after it drops is when you go into network settings, and renew the DHCP lease, it ends up assiging some external ip address and so far as I know the only way to fix it is a reboot. I've tried it with a static ip and it isn;t having that at all. Frankly I'm stumped!?! sheff88
What kernel are you using? If you use voodoo-based kernel you have the known issue. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/162906-internet-connection-dies/#findComment-1155338 Share on other sites
