Brendan1981 Posted April 18, 2009 Share Posted April 18, 2009 Hi guys, I've been trying for 2 days to get my PC up and running, and the closest I have come is to the display switching off with the intro movie being played... I have an Asus A8N Sli Amd Athlon 64 3500+ XFX 6600gt 128mb 1gb ram wd 200gb sata hd Using the onboard sound and networking. I've used the kalyway kexts and have gone through most of the drivers in the nvidia section, selecting the appropriate kexts for all the other components... I've been searching the forums and trying to nut it out myself but it has got the better of me... What am I doing wrong? Any help yould be ace! Finally got the video to work, but with the same problem everyone else is having with screen res... I hav still not been able to get the network functions up and running, at the moment I have installed forcedeth.kext and it freezes on booting up, so off to do another install again! I am determined to get this thing running on OSX, but it would be heaps easier if someone else has got any advice or has got the same Mobo and Video Card working together???
