tylertech
I just installed iDeneb to install 10.5.6 on my Inspiron 1525, however I have issues getting some usb devices to work. For example, my USB wireless mouse works great, but devices like my iPhone or an external hard drive won't mount or show up or anything. By using "uname -a" in Terminal, it shows that my Kernel version is 9.6.0 Darwin. However, my system.kext says that it uses 9.2.2. I'm guessing that this is my issue with the USB devices, and I've seen a lot of posts about it, but I'm not exactly sure how to fix the problem. Thanks! Beerkex'd
Install System.kext from 10.5.6. Extract it from 10.5.6 DVD or combo/delta update with Pacifist.
