530sCheapMac Posted April 14, 2009 Share Posted April 14, 2009 I am Building my own computer case and I want to install a pair of these: *** NEW *** SilverStone Slim Type Slot Load DVDRW Optical Drive - DVD/CD Disc Re-Writing - SATA Has anyone had any luck with support for these or problems? (not booting, not ejecting?) Also, If I do install two, I use "eject" for drive one and "option"+"eject" for drive two, right? Because it is the same for the Mac Pro with two drives. Also, does anyone know about using external DVD drives (USB) with Mac OS X? I attempted to plug one in to my mom's iMac, and nothing happened.
