those are pics from the process. lol

i think my issue may have to do with me not having a driver or somethin for my Ethernet, because i'm using the same internet right now on the PC side of the computer

Many people just post their laptop model name and expect other people to look these things up for them.

Don't be one of those people.

What kind of network hardware does your laptop have?

Post brand and model name.

i put up three posts full of information. including the info that i'm a newb and i dont know anything. i'm just pissed this is taking so long, thnx for the help anyways lol and sorry i didnt mean to sound like an ass, this has just been a week long process that i feel like should have taken a day. i dont even know what kind of ethernet card i have. i'm trying to look it up but i have no idea how to find out

k downloading SANDRA, as we speak ;D

I'm not finding where anyone has had much luck for sure with this chipset yet. That doesn't mean it's not out there, I'm just not finding it.

that link sounds like money! only thing is i dont know how to do what those directions say to do ;(

thats like telling a person who's never seen a car to take out fuel injector and replace it with another lol ;D

Yeah if you don't know how to use the terminal some of that gets a little tricky. Most of it can be done without it but there is no easy way. You might just want to find a compatible card and put it in it should make you life much easier.

oh ok! maybe thats my best bet, huh? well what the best way to figure out what a compatible card is?

Just click on the OSX86 wiki on the top of this page and look over the compatible hardware list. I've never mess with it on a desktop so I can't be of much help.
