txczshooter Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 I've installed and got video, wireless, ethernet, etc working. Now working on audio as the kext for the ALC888 didn't work. I just need to know exactly how to install the kexts. I may have to try several. Does the kext have to be in specific folder, or can it be on the desktop? Does it matter if I used the kext loader in OSx86Tools build 1.50 or another kext helper? Is there anything I have to delete before trying to install the new kext? Thanks for the help.
