iMac 2008 or 2009 model

I have the change of buying an end of line iMac at a discount and wondered if there was a great deal of difference between those and the new 2009 models?<br /><br />I can get a 2.8 24" for £985, which seems a big saving over the current pricing.

 

I'm also not sure however what the old price would have been on this and so how much of a good deal it actually is.

 

 

Any opinions would be appreciated.
