I've just installed Mac OS X 10.5.2 with Netkas' Sleep Kernel. How can I update the OS via system update without breaking the install?

I heard about an alternative System Updater.app which downloads the updates, automatically patches them and installs them, does something like this exist?

I'm on Pentium D, by the way.

Google 'Kalyway 10.5.3 combo Update'

Or you can try going straight to 10.5.5 with this:

/EDIT

Better follow the link in the post by Verdant below.

Okay, I updated to 10.5.3 using that update, but didn't update the Kernel. Can I simply use Software Update to update to 10.5.6?

EDIT: I've just discovered OSx86 Tools, can I download the new 9.6 Kernel, install it using OSx86 Tools and simply update via Software Update?

Which Kernel do you recommend and where can I get it from?

If you update to 10.5.6 via software update without taking any precautions you will trash your install.

One thing at a time..

Install the Voodoo 9.5 kernel. Download the installer here:

http://code.google.com/p/xnu-dev/

Read the documentation.

Then follow the link that I posted and start reading.

I'm sorry, I'm a bit stupid. So all I have to do it install this Voodoo Kernel, update using the official 10.5.6 Combo update, or first update then install the Voodoo Kernel?

Okay, I installed the Voodoo Kernel, now how do I update to 10.5.6?

For updating from 10.5.2 to 10.5.6.......see here....... :)
