fabiopigi
hi i may have fuc*ed up big time. so, i went ahead and installed the drivers with the latest verison of OSX86Tools. installed them, downloaded and all. then i rebooted the system, and i get a kernel error each time. in verbose mode, the last few line it reads are: BSD process name corresponding to current thread: kernel_task Mac OS version: Not yet set Kernel versoin: Darwin Kernel Version 9.6.0: Mon Nov 24 17:37:00 PST 2008; root:xnu-1228.9.59~1/RELEASE_I386 System model name: EP35-DS3P and after that nothing else. so, i do have a GA-EP35-DS3P, and a GA311 network card which didnt work anymore after the 10.5.6 update, hence i tried the osx86tools driver download. guess i shouldnt have what i remember the tools downloaded: audio drivers 889A, ICH9, USB something, two network drivers (but booth with the same URL). is there anything i can do? i have a working windows with macdrive installed on the same machine (but another harddrive), so i could delete some .kext if needed Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/160654-help-kernelpanic-right-after-darwin-kernel-versoin-loading/ Share on other sites
