Keyboard Layout reset after Reboot

i've got some problems with my keyboard all the time.

mostly, after restarting the computer (10.5.6), it resets the keyboard layout to "US".

instead i wanted it to be "Logitech, Deutsch Schweiz" and having the char table and keymap (dont know the english names, just the two options on top) available.

 

i can set them, but as soon as i reboot, they'll disappear and "US" is back again. kinda annoying.

i already set the language of OS X to "German" in the "international"-pref pane.

 

 

any ideas?

Sorry for my Engligh, first....... I have a same problem, and I fixed. You must login as root ....... tnen changes you keyboard layout then logout and login as user............
