Scott Robinson Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 Hi Folks, Did an install using Kalyway 10.5.2 on my XPS M1530 a while ago.. Seemed to work OK! Want to give it a try on my custom PC... Asus Maximus formula motherboard with a Q6600. The hardware isnt in the database and i don't know where to start! Shall i just try installing it with Kalyway? Is there a guid for someone in my situation? Any help would be great! You will want to get the full specs for your mobo especially your chipset. I would highly recommend that you consider a more recent distro such as iDeneb. Something in 10.5.5 or 10.5.6 should be fine. You can also place this information in your "Signature". It will then appear on every post you make.
