bignik05
Hello everyone! I discovered the OSx86 project a few days ago and was really eager to try it. I've downloaded the IDENEB 10.5.5 release and burned it on a dvd. Now I wanted to instal it on an old laptop I have. I checked, it does support SSE2. It is an HP compaq nx9030. Now... I insert the DVD and boot from it. I insert the -v command and then start it. after a few minutes these lines come out: localhost diskarbitrationd[44]:CoreRAIDServer localhost diskarbitrationd[44]:unable to mount /dev/disk0s1 (status code 0x00000047) localhost diskarbitrationd[44]:unable to mount /dev/disk0s5 (status code 0x00000047) localhost diskarbitrationd[44]:unable to mount /dev/disk0s6 (status code 0x00000047) at this point it stops and does not go on. also the dvd drive stops spinning I have no idea what to do.... As I enter the BIOS, under main, I get System information + date and time. Under security I have Administrator Password, Power-on password, Drive-lock password, and device security. Under the advanced tab there is language, boot order, accessibility options and tells you video memory. Under tools tab there is only one thing which is the Hard Drive Self Test Finally there is the Exit tab where you can save settings. I hope this is what you were talking about. Yes....I could be wrong but your BIOS has so few options that if it is not compatible with OS X by default you will not be able to change BIOS settings to make it compatible with OS X......what are the accessibility options....?
