eval
Hi there, i am working on get my own EFI image (modified from an original one), and i have some doubts... right now, i have done a dump of my original image (directly from the EFI chip), and have decompressed it. Now i have a folder with all the components which resides in EFI. My objective now is to modify one of the drivers contained into the original image, and walk the way back, which means, compress the files, generate my new EFI image, and flash it to the EFI chip. Hmmm... i'm not sure if this way is possible, perhaps there are problems with checksums or whatever... The final objective is running my own EFI driver when the computer starts up (but i need it to reside in EFI chip)... The issue is that the computer is a Macintosh, and i cannot load persistent drivers as well as in other platforms... Could anyone help me? Thanks.
