Aligator__
Hi! I don't know if this is the right sub-forum, so please correct me if wrong  I'm new to OSX96 and tried to get the iPC 10.5.6 Final Distribution work on my (quite old) PC. There I get an error when booting. I tried to boot in Verbose Mode and it says "Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPS2Nub" (in yellow). Sometimes it continues booting anyway in verbose-mode and I can setup the system. But unfortunately not everytime. But it doesn't boot in the normal (not-verbose) mode. Keeps hanging on the grey apple logo with the circle. I tried installing it many times with different options. without any drivers, only the necessary fixes e.g. but no change... I installed the following packages: 9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel NVIDIA GeForce 7600GS AGP Driver Intel ICHx SATA Drivers ACPI Fix IOPCIFamily.kext patched IOPCMCIAFamily Seatbelt.kext 10.5.5 PS/2 Keyboard Fix (-> because i use ps/2 keyboard and mouse) (AC97 Audio) (kX Drivers) My system specs are: Mainboard: AOpen AX4B (Intel 845 Chipset) CPU: Pentium 4 (Codname Willamette), 1,8GHz @ 2 GHz RAM: 1 GB PC2100 GPU: PNY GeForce 7600 GS 512 MB Onboard-Audio: AC97 Audio: SoundBlaster Live 5.1 Ethernet: Realtek RTL8139 Wireless: TP-Link WN651G I don't know what to do - please help  Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/160048-boot-problem-ipc-1056/ Share on other sites
