snowspeeder
I have recently updated my iatkos v5 10.5.5 to OSX 10.5.6. Everything has been working fine until this morning when I applied some updates. Now upon reboot I experience a kernel panic. This is the error I see with -v Debugger Called Panic<Bunch of Numbers> Kernel loadable modules n backtrace (with dependencies): com.musahi.skge(1.0.0)@0x2e3x2000-70x2e3c8fff dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily(2.5)@0x2e321000 dependency: com.apple.iokit.IONetworkingFamily(1.6.1)@0x2e46b000 If I boot with -x, I can get in fine. I then remove the skge.kext from /System/Library/Extensions and can boot normally but obviously loose network connectivity. If I reinstall skge.kext I get the kernel panic again... I am using a D-link DGE-530T Rev B2. Other hardware. P5GC-MX Motherboard Intergrated Intel Graphics. 4GB RAM 160GB Sata WD HDD Please help, this installation was running very well. "Note: Two minor issues as well I would like to address but not nearly as important as the one above. I am experiencing an all blue screen on boot, but if I switch monitors with my KVM to my PC then back to my hackintosh the screen comes back. Sometimes It gets the correct resolution "1600x1050". Other times it defaults to "1300x1050" without the native resolution available in the display options. Also I cant use USB after the 10.5.6 update. However I believe I can find a thread that already discusses this issue. snowspeeder
Disregard the kernel panic issue. After I stopped putting -v during startup everything booted up fine... However I still have the two other issues. Why would leaving out -v affect this?
