cwibel Posted March 30, 2009 Share Posted March 30, 2009 Hello, After i change boot132 cd with leopard cd it is loading kexts etc and then just "still waiting for root device". Leopard version is 10.5.6. I have installed Kalyway 10.5.2 without any problems i cant figure out whats with that retail.I think i have used every kind of bios setting without any results. Maybe my boot132 is just wrong or the hardware. Any suggestions ? PS. If anyone with same pc spec. could send me screenshots of his bios settings and boot loader it would be great. My pc specifications: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R (rev 1.0) Intel Core 2 Duo E6620 GeForce 8800GTS 320Mb 2x1GB DDR2@800MHz Patriot 0,5Tb Segate SATAII Barracuda LG DVD GSA-4167B IDE Thanks. soulty Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 are you pointing to a uuid for the root drive or diskXsY? if diskXsY , are you pointing to the dvd drives 3rd partition? eg. (disk2s3) ... also how does your motheboard suppost ide (via a sata/pata controller)? if so you might need to set it to achi.
