Oh enlightened ones,

 

Has anyone had any success in transforming the rotund Sony VGX-TP1E into a 10.5.x Mac Mini complete with HDMI?

 

If so, can i ask what were the pitfalls (Changing of Wfi etc) as the spec suggests that its a "goer"

 

965 Chipset (ICH8), 950Video with HDMI, Mavell NIC(Yukon2 kext)

Ive been trying this for a few days now with no success. The Sony VGX-TP1E is a dreadul piece of machinery. I regretted buying it almost immediately and have rarely used it because its so painful to use. :)

 

Despite following loads of different posted instructions from all over the web I cant get it to migrate into an OS X machine or find any evidence of compatibility on the osx86 wikis of any OS X version with the basic chipset

 

Can any of the osx86 masters can help us?
