maffew Posted March 26, 2009 Share Posted March 26, 2009 So I just got a new encore enuwi-n wireless usb adapter because i was under the impression that if i installed the ralink 2870 driver everything would work. The adapter does show up in system profiler as Ralink 0x2870, I installed the driver but Ralinks USBWirelessUtility program doesn't pick up on the adapter. My Encore ENUWI-N dongle works OK on Leopard but not on Snow Leopard. I get error message during installation of files downloaded from the site you indicated. The message says that "System extension cannot be used" "....RT2870USBWireless Driver.kext was installed improperly and cannot be used....." Any help will be appreciated.
