bpeugh
I was wondering if anyone has found a digital camera that also takes movie and that those movies are in a format that a piece of software that Apple puts out will be able to edit like iMovie or FCP. Most of the stuff I have come across does it in some weird formats and/or non-compliant ones. Thank you. gooki
Any MiniDV camera should work fine. If you want to edit is OSX then capture in OSX. bluedragon1971
He was asking about digital cameras, not MiniDV camcorders. Sony cameras capture video in standard 640x480 MPEG-1 video, which iMovie will import with no problems. I have a DSC-P32 (kind of old, but it still works great), and it works great with iMovie and iPhoto.
