I was just wondering if anyone knew which G4 case is the best to use to build a hackintosh?

I haven't actually seen inside all of them, so I'm not sure if they all have the same amount of space inside, or if I could maybe fit a regular, not mini, mobo in one of them, things like that, any thoughts?

I understand the unique functionality that can be found in G4 cases; however, make sure you take into consideration the amount of modification it will take to incorporate a PC motherboard into the case. Also, you will not be able to fit a full size ATX PC motherboard in a G4 case, so you are limiting your expansion and features options. It is nice to pay homage to our Apple roots; however, consider that you may actually be happier with a PC case that provides superior expandability and comparable design functionality without the need for modification of the chassis itself. I only mention this to make you aware that there are options. Raidmax makes an excellent PC case that opens up quite similarly to the manner a G4 case opens. In fact the Smilodon case opens on both sides and provides for tooless installation of components. The Smilodon case is also very affordable. Take a look here:

Keep in mind that no case is perfect unless you manufacture one from scratch according to your own desires and do an excellent job of doing so.

If you still want to pursue the G4 hackintosh I suggest you visit Aquamac's mod blog as he has done many such projects and has a wealth of knowledge to share on the subject.

Good luck.

Well I was looking at getting the Antec Sonata 550, but then my friend found this...

So I decided to go with a G4 case, I ended up getting the Sawtooth case anyway, and I do know it can't take a full size board, but it will work with a Micro-ATX board, now I just need to find one that will work....

I've built 3 sawtooth hacks so far, and have tried to keep cutting to a minimum. I like to call them "zombies" :D
