Mr-X Posted March 20, 2009 Share Posted March 20, 2009 I saw a few old posts (2007) regarding Tiger on a Tecra S2, that apparently failed. So I attempted it myself. I tried using iDeneb 10.5.5, and it failed, so I found one of my other discs lying around, JaS 10.4.8, and it worked perfectly. First install. Everything worked out of the box, except for PCMCIA, and wireless (Intel 2915abg). Wireless was patched, just search google for "intel 2915 osx86" and you'll find it. PCMCIA still doesn't work, but no big deal. Take note that this is the version of the S2 which has X600 Mobility graphics instead of a 6600 Go. It is also the one that has a Pentium M 760, instead of the 7xx (Like 5 other ones) Now I did the 10.4.9 update procedure, and it worked fine too.
