Noob, help needed, extension "com.apple.iokit.IONetworkingFamily" cannot be found

I have a working install from retail leopard, then updated all the way to 10.5.6. It’s not my regular machine since I also have a couple of real Macs so tracking down issues are a bit difficult since I don’t use it as my main computer. But I'm able to use the internet, play games, use Handbrake (basically all that I use the Hackintosh for).

I’ve been looking into the common “CFGetHostUUIDString: unable to determine UUID for host. Error: 35” and trying to figure out if the SMBIOSResolver.kext is the right thing to fix it. I get a ton of those at boot. But delving into my boot messages a bit more I noticed this one...

If this helps, my install was done as follows:

1. GRUB-DFE

2. Install retail leopard (10.5.0)

3. Updated to 10.5.6 thru Apple

4. Used Universal OSx86 Installer to add PC_EFI v9 Chameleon, OSx86_Essentials, video, etc.

I’m afraid I’m a noob on these things so if anyone has a good suggestion for the IONetworkingFamily.kext issue I’m having and how to fix it. But please be pretty specific if you can. And it sounds to me (but again I’m a noob) that this may be the reason for all the Error 35’s I’m getting at boot.
