allmyemails
I recently acquired a copy of ideneb 1.4 and installed it on my sony vaio c190g... After several install attempts of picking and choosing what seemed like the proper drivers.. (the only ones really needed to boot anyway) I would get a blue screen then a black screen and then a strange white screen that would slowly fade to black. I gave up picking the drivers and selected the Acer Aspire A150 netbook and to my astonishment the computer booted into OS X... Now my headaches really began... Graphics Mode does not respond (both modifying the plist and booting with "Graphics Mode"="1280x800x32") and the computer shows 7mb vesa 3.0 graphics (its an intel GMA 945). Wifi doesn't work, but that's not much of a surprise because I have the intel 3945abg chipset which I'm under the impression doesn't work.. The strange thing is, is that I downloaded and compiled the kext using xcode and got google's network selector program and the networks are listed when I select option 2 although it never seems to connect. After installing the wifi drivers airport does not show up in the system preferences, but ethernet popped up out of the blue... Ethernet doesn't seem to respond to a cable being plugged in though. Audio doesn't work.. I can live without it, but it seems like it should work Surprisingly bluetooth works and my built in card readers work, but my biggest issues are the video audio and wifi. My question is then, does anyone know what kexts the Acer Aspire A150 option installs because I have a hinkering that I can delete all the garbage kexts that I don't need and install proper kexts for my system so I can at least have 1280x800 and sound working.. Oh yeah and shutdown causes a kernel panic that it says is related to the sound drivers... Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you.
