VMware Fusion kernel panics

Hello

 

I just finished setting up my Hackintosh using iDeneb 10.5.6. I can't run VMware Fusion(2.0.0 and 2.0.2) without a kernel panic shortly after windows gets to the login screen and Parallels(3) doesn't even want to start. When the system does kernel panic, it doesn't seem to generate a log. I have the following kexts installed:

Yes, this may be because your kernel is not called mach_kernel. Voodoo kernel, for example, calls itself mach_kernel.voodoo.

 

So rename your current kernel to mach_kernel, (you may have to delete mach_kernel) and remove the item in com.apple.boot.plist that refers to said kernel.

Thank you for replying to my message. Im not entirely sure but i don't think that is the case. At the root of my startup drive if have the following kernel name:

-rw-r--r--@ 1 root wheel 10318880 24 Nov 20:39 mach_kernel

 

and com.apple.Boot.plist contains the following:
