DannyCNJ Posted March 19, 2009 Share Posted March 19, 2009 Ok so I did the right thing and I have serched all the forums and read the wiki's. Now I have come steps closer to finally installing. I just need help with one part of the installation. Use Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD, and use Kalyway 10.5.3 combo update. Use Apple 10.5.3 and 10.5.4 and 10.5.5 update. When using 10.5.6, install from Apple, but reinstall kernel before rebooting I understood all the directions except "reinstall kernel before restart". How do I do that! Thanks for the help! While im at it let me ask another question. Another tutorial on this site says to use a custom bios and custom bios settings. The instructions on the wiki make no mention of a custom bios. Should I leave the custom bios and bios settings or revert to the default? Also if you haven't figured it out I have installed OS X successfully. I have not been able to update howerver which is why im trying a new install method.
