coribald Posted March 12, 2009 Share Posted March 12, 2009 I recently installed JaS 10.4.8 Intel/AMD SSE2/SSE3 + PFF1 onto a vmware virtual machine in vmware server 1.0.7 successfully, only I can't seem to boot. The booting process hangs here: localhost /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/MacOS/loginwindow: Login Window Application Started I have no extra hardware set up, and edited the config file so the GuestOS is darwin. I've given it up to 20 minutes, so I assume I don't need to wait any longer. It seems to me that there is a graphical problem, but I don't know what it is. I've tried booting safe mode, and with the -f and -legacy parameters to no avail. Help would be appreciated!
