condo19 Posted March 12, 2009 Share Posted March 12, 2009 Well after some fideling and mutiple installs I was able to install iPC 10.5.6 on my msi ms-1636/ex600/Winbook gl35 Laptop After following this guide http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=151988 I was able to get that going but not able to get 10.5.6 upgraded so after a lot of fideling I flashed the modded bios found here: http://www.osxcores.site50.net/page7/page2/page2.html I renamed it to match the bios rom found here: http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=do...7&type=bios And replaced with the modded bios file on a Bootable usb flash and flashed it. Be carefull there are 4 different bios listed for this computer I was lucky and they were modded already for my model. After that i was able to boot and install iPC 10.5.6 final Now im trying to figure out what options i need to use with it. It apears as though i was able to install vanilla kernel. I also need the ps2 fix Ethernet works EDIT: Ok iDeneb 1.4 with flowing settings works -ACPI Kext 10.5.6 -PS2Fix Mouse -alc888 -intel ich -NVkush -PowerOFF -BatteryManager The bios was the key!!!
