lloydi
Hi folks I hope that I'm posting this in the right place - this forum was recommended by a friend who has previously got a netbook up and running with OSX, said this was the place for helpful advice :-) I bought an MSI Wind, mainly because I had heard from several sources that this was a netbook that ran OSX on it really well, in particular Wifi! Predictably, after installing, the Wifi is not working. I followed the video that Paul O'Brien put together showing him installing it on an Advet machine (different branding, same hardware) but he already had another Wifi card that was supported in the Kalyway 10.5.2 installer. So I looked around for the Realtek drivers and downloaded what I thought was the right set (filename: Realtek Installer87se.pkg). However, following the instructions I can;t seem to get any wifi. I've posted the screen shots of what I'm looking at, compared with the instructions in the Readme note on the installer: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ianlloyd/3335977498/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/ianlloyd/3335141551/ Can anyone tell me what I've missed? How can I put this right? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/156559-msi-wind-realtek-drivers-not-taking/ Share on other sites
