c0rk007hck Posted March 6, 2009 Share Posted March 6, 2009 Step 1 - You need:- a MSI p965 main board ($65)- Quad core CPU (q6600 is $170)- Ram 2 gb ($15)- HD (1 tb = $100)- Case with Power supply (Cheapest one i found (560 Watt): $75)- Graphics card (I use 8400GS that's 75$, but you can choose a cheaper one. Read my signature for card info)Total: $ 395Step 2 - Downloading stuff- Download iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6Burn it with nero or Alcohol, burn it with 4x speed, else you can get 'com.apple.boot.plist' error.Step 3 - Installing stuff- Boot you DVD by setting up your bios.- Just press a key, and you will see a apple with spinning wheel, this can take sometimes 10 minutes!- Choose you language.- Go to Utilities, Disk utility.- Choose a partition to format, or repartition, note if you partition you must choose under options 'Master Boot Record (mbr)'- Once done, close window.- Click next- Choose you created volume- Choose next- Choose cutomize- Configure like this:After installation, remove DVD, and boot into you osx86!After that, you must go to System preferences > Audio > Output, and change your channel until you can hear.Soory for my noooob english.Please comment for questions! Of course, you could drop the HD down to a 500gig and combine that extra $50 with the power supply cost and spend $100 on a case with a powersupply...
