sanders4617
I believe I deleted ApplePS2Controller.kext.. and when I rebooted, My mouse and keyboard don't work anymore, and I can't do anything. (I am on laptop.. so mouse and keyboard, I mean the little pad and keyboard. USB Mouse doesn't work, dont think ive installed drivers yet) So I booted into the install disk, and went to terminal, but couldn't figure out how to copy the file from the cd to hard drive. I thought about installing windows and using windows to put it in the folder, but when I had windows installed before, I couldn't even access the Mac hd. Is there a command to do this? Or is it even possible? I have looked around. Fixed! I realized I had a copy on my desktop so I copied it to folder.. then something else messed up, so I resinstalled the OS over the current one, and it just fixed everything back to normal. And I can see my battery meter now. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/156281-copy-kext-from-cd-to-harddrive-fixed/ Share on other sites
