copperboy Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 My laptop meets the minimum requirement: ThinkPad X31: Banais Pentium M 1.3GHz, Intel 855PM Chipset, 512MB DDR 266, Mobility Raedon with 16MB DDR, 40G 5400rpm HDD I can easily get Tiger 10.4.Generic on the campus network. moseschrist Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 as far as i know your cpu wont support 4.6 (as min doesn't either) i'm currently trying 4.5 but downloading it is a {censored}... i saw in the wiki that 4.5 can support our old cpus which come without nx and pae so i'm going to try it now... copperboy Posted April 23, 2006 Author Share Posted April 23, 2006 I am trying to let my ThinkPad sing for me... I downloaded a universal iTunes from Apple website. Will it work if I directly install it by double clicking the dmg file? Anyway, my ThinkPad has no sound... ICH4's AC97 sound, I posted for help in hardware section.
