De_Bilbao Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Aunque no tenía mucha esperanza de conseguir instalar Leopard en esta configuración, le he dado una oportunidad a la distro de PCWiz, iPC OSx86, con la cual ha sido realmente sencillo tener Mac OS X funcionando en su versión 10.5.6. El sistema aún no está fino, sobre todo porque abriendo el monitor de actividad veo que la tara kernel_task se come la CPU cada vez que trato de hacer algo. No sé cómo evitar este problema, y estoy pensando que quizá sea un problema relacionado con la memoria, debido a la configuración utilizada, que tras unos últimos retoques ha quedado como sigue: - Placa base Gigabyte GA-8ST800 - Procesador Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.4 GHz (Northwood) - 1GB RAM en 3 DIMMM PC2100 133 MHz: 1x512MB + 2x256 - Gráfica nVidia GeForce 6600 AGP - Tarjeta de sonido externa USB (en stick) Terratec Aureon USB - Disco IDE Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 300GB - Disco IDE Seagate Barracuda ATA IV 80 GB - Regrabadora Pioneer DVR-109 DVD IDE He instalado el sistema bse iPC OSx86 (PPF2) con las siguientes opciones: - Sólo el idioma español (más el inglés que es obligatorio) - Kernel voodoo 9.5.0 - VIA/SiS/Marvell SB Chipset drivers - PS2 keyboard and mouse fix - Una versión modificada del kext AppleDecrypt para que no registre en la consola todo lo que hace. - Patched USB drivers y PCGenUSBEHCI - Seatbelt kext 10.5.5 - AppleSMBIOSEFI No he elegido drivers ni de audio ni de vídeo, ya que la GeForce 6600 256 MB AGP proporciona soporte completo CI/QE mediante EFI strings y la tarjeta de audio Terratec Aureon en un stick USB es una maravilla, barata, con muchísima calidad de audio, entrada de sonido analógica y digital y 100% soportada de forma nativa por Mac OS X, tanto en entrada como en salida. En el sistema también he instalado Chamaleon 1.0.12 como bootloader, algo que ha sido necesario para poder iniciar el mismo en una configuración de triple-boot, con Windows XP SP3, Windows 7 y Mac OS X, gestionado por EasyBCD 2.0 beta. He probado muchas instalaciones distintas en un disco duro independiente, con diversas combinaciones, y todas acaban igual: el kernel_task convierte el sistema en algo inutilizable. Espero que alguno de vosotros pueda ayudarme a dejar el sistema fino...
