dipendra Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Hi, I have Dell inspiron 1525 with configuration Core2 Duo 2.4 Ghz 4GB RAM 250GB Hard disk My first are as follows Partition1 - OEM (FAT16) Partition2 - Windows Vista (NTFS) Partition3 - Drive D (NTFS) Partition4 - Macintosh HD (HSF+) Partition5 - Unknown(FAT32) I have iATKOS v5i DVD. I have installed the OS X according to below steps: 1. Boot From DVD. 2. G0 to Utilities-> Disk Manager and Format the partition with HSF+ and named it to Macintosh HD. 3. Return back to installation page and press continue. 4. Select Hard Disk and press next. 5. Now click Install. without go into customize. Installation finish after 20 minutes. add boot flag to MAC OS X partition. Now reboot the system but MAC OS X does not boot. A black screen appear with courser blinking. Plz help me i don't find any solution. My MAC drive is in Extended Part of the hard disk. If i need to customize the setup. Then plz tell me which things should i use. Nilesh Naik Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Is there any option in your bios to change sata configuration. i.e AHCI,Enhanced,IDE. Try IDE or Enchanced.
