May be a stupid question (Apple Wireless card)

This may be a stupid question, but I just want it confirmed before I buy it.

I found this Mini PCI-Express Wifi-card from Apple, made for Mac Pro´s.

I have a HP G7000-laptop and noticed that my Wifi-card (AR5007) is fitted with two connectors under a hatch next to my memory modules. Can I remove these connectors or are the mounted on the card? It doesnt look like they are brazed on the card, but on the other hand I may not be the right person to judge. Sorry if you dont understand what I mean, my english is pretty limited.

The replacement card is found here

http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=352506

Even if the site is in Swedish the description of the product is in English.

Should I give up on my AR5007 and buy another card? I have followed the thread in this forum but no solution has so far worked for me. External cards is not an option.

Thanks in advance for your response.

I believe your BIOS whitelists the wireless cards so unless you patch your BIOS it's a no-go.

If your BIOS doesn't whitelist and your miniPCIe slots are standard then I see no problems.
