username Posted March 4, 2009 Share Posted March 4, 2009 I'm trying to get Wi-Fi working on my Dell Inspiron 1520 running Mac OS X 10.5.6. I have absolutely no idea which kext I need. I got the ethernet working after fooling around a bit, but what I need is Wi-Fi. Has anyone else got it working? Synaesthesia Posted March 4, 2009 Share Posted March 4, 2009 Well, do you have Intel 3945 Wifi? It doesn't work. Only broadcom based Dell wifi (1390 & 1505) works. But you can open up your laptop and put in a compatible Dell 1390 or 1505 card, if that is the case. I already added the NetworkingFamily kext in the sticky of this section of the forum.
