haihu
Hi everyone, I just recently installed iAtkos i5 10.5.5 on my Shuttle SG31G2 with an Intel Q6600 quad-core, 4gb DDR2 ram. I'm dual-booting it with Windows Vista. Unfortunately, it seems that OS X hangs whenever I try to shutdown or restart the computer. Everything except the desktop background disappears and the loading symbol comes on in an infinite loop (not the rainbow circle, the one that shows up when you first start OS X -- a broken up gray circle). I've left it on for awhile, but nothing happens. In the end I'm forced to manually shutdown or restart the computer. The problem occurs whenever I update OS X, install a program, or just want to regularly shut it down. It seems whatever I try to install or update does successfully complete despite my computer hanging. The latest security update from apple, Safari 4, etc... all seemed to install just fine. If it matters, I don't have a shutdown problem with Vista. Thanks!
