klturi421
Last night on my hackintosh i installed uTorrent and got a version of MS Office 08 and proceeded to obtain a copy of CS4. I left the computer on over night in an attempt to complete the download. This morning I hop on the machine and my screen is black and unresponsive. I turn it off, back on reload utorrent, it starts reading from the cache, gets to about 4% then gives me the text curtain informing me that it had crashed. I have read some place else that downloading large files might be the culprit, but I have yet to find any definitive advice on the correct approach to fixing the problem. I plan on installing Transmission tonight and give that a go and hopefully have no other issues. Any advice on how to trouble shoot that? I can't tell if it is a kernel panic or not. The text curtain said that utorrent was the culprit but it did not say kernel panic and what not. Any help would be appreciated! Also, so im not taking up more threads than i need to, if i set my system to sleep, it does not wake up. My computer is still on, when i move my mouse, the mouse lights back up, and my monitor stays black. any advice?
