autolysis Posted February 27, 2009 Share Posted February 27, 2009 when upgrading from kalyway 10.5.2, i lost trackpad and keyboard on HP Pavillion DV2745tx(2700 series). so i decided to try ideneb since it's 10.5.6 out of the box now, after installation it reboots and then after showing a white screen with the loading gears for a few seconds, screen goes black. I waited for 10 mins and nothing happens. restarting just leads to the same sequence. anybody has similar experiences or solutions? thanks a lot! I have Nvidia card and NVkush works great for me. I have Nvidia card and NVkush works great for me.Hope this helps thanks for the quick reply, when booted with -v, it shows the usual bunch of too-fast-to-read messages and then texts become brighter followed by more messages. evetually, screen goes black, similar to normal boot... Tried just the essentials, if that didn't boot I tried different kernels then started to add things. I kept a list to compare what worked and what didn't. What are you specs of your system?
