kittyn
Hi guys, Just wanted to let anyone who is having problems with random problems mounting .dmg files or having so-and-so Verification failed during installs that.. you should reboot with -v cpus=1 -legacy maxmem=2048 and try again. For some reason, a lot of the disk image/verification software doesn't want to run correctly with the default boot (such as asr). By the way, everything on my system is working... webcam, audio, full 3d accel... I'm using it to do a lot of video editing in Final Cut Pro and it's pretty solid with dual cores. For some reason though, all that disk checking stuff doesn't want to work with 2 cores. My system is this: e6600 @ 3.5ghz 4gb ddr2 ram evga 680i sli 8800 GTS 640mb iDeneb 1.4 OSX 10.5.6 Voodoo 9.5 kernel Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/154922-codec-overrun-verification-failed-problem-solved/ Share on other sites
