I've installed Kalyway "successfully" numerous times (this time i unchecked the vanilla kernels, and checked off mbr). but i still cant manage to get my computer to boot and give me the option for windows or osx. im following this guide: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...DualBoot_10.5.2 I have windows one hd and i installed osx on a seperate hd and made it one big partition. I can boot from the DVD, but i get stuck on the "Do you already own a mac" thing a does a infinite loop of that. tried to go to console and fix it with the "touch /var/db/.AppleSetupDone" thing. says that file is read only. guessing its getting it from the dvd. went to Gparted and unchecked my XP hd to boot... leaving the osx to boot. but gives me a MBR Error 1. just goes str8 to windows when i start... Im really tired of trying to install this for months and googling for hours for the solution :censored2: . someone please be my savior and walk me out of this dark place... Thanks alot... Same problem here, the different thing is that i have installed without dual boot and it boots fine. But it loops with me 2 How do you do that with the console so i can try that? Thanks for the help.
