ciki022 Posted April 19, 2006 Share Posted April 19, 2006 Hi, I finally got new copy of OSX86 install DVD ( Maxxuss patched ) and successfuly installed it on 5 GB primary partition. First, minor problem is that I can not fix dual boot with XP ( tried with chain0 method, but I will try other methods ). Second problem is that when I boot with install DVD in DVD drive, OS X loads from HDD and offers me to configure accounts and other stuff, but mouse does not respond. Keyboard works normally. During installation my Genius GM-04003P otpical mouse WORKED WELL. I tried this few times and behaviour is the same, no respond from mouse. How is that possiblle ? Any ideas ? ciki022 Posted April 23, 2006 Author Share Posted April 23, 2006 I solved problem with my mouse, now OS X works, but no sound ( I hope that I will fix that, I saw few posts about sound problems ). But didnt succeed to fix dual boot with XP. I have tried several methods that I have found searching the forum ( chain0, boot with Lilo, OS loader 2000 and some other boot managers ) and no one works. Have no more ideas. I repeat that partition is PRIMARY, ACTIVE, HFS+ with ID=af. Can anybody post the solution, please ?
