PigBenis Posted February 23, 2009 Share Posted February 23, 2009 Hello people of the dear forum, I am new to this whole scene, but I can tell you that I'm very interested and (still) catching on. As this is still a project in "testing" stages, I expected that not everything would be near perfection, which is fine by me. I have managed to install Leo on my lappy (Gateway mx6938m, Intel Centrino Duo 1.6ghz, 1gb 533mhz DDR2 SDRAM) and so far it seems that it's 90% up. Fully functional except for some things; it has an Intel 3945 wireless card which works for open AP's; Sigma Tel HD 5250(i think, dont quote me on that yet), but still doesnt workl; and now, for the problem. I have a Marvell Yukon 88E8038 card that needs some tweaking to work, I have searched and found some threads that say that they have gotten it to work, but so far i cant follow quite yet, it handles some files that i either dont have or i cant find (Appleyukon2.kext). So im asking, what can i do and how would i do it (and even get there...) to make this card work? I have used the final iPC install disc. Thanks a lot, people!
