First of all, I apologise if this has been posted in the wrong place because I'm not completely sure where to ask.

I have read through loads of topics on this forum and decided to try and use the iDeneb 1.4 distro to install 10.5.6 to my custom system.

After more searching, I've come across the Boot-132 method which allows the use of a retail Leopard disk. As I can't find any proper and simple information for this method and in some cases, different guides say the opposite of each other, I hope someone can answer my questions below.

1) Will this method work on my system? (specs below) It seems like it should work with the vanilla kernel from what I have read but want to make sure.

2) I will be installing Leopard on a separate partition on a SATA drive shared with a Windows 7 installation. I also have Windows Vista but on a completely different drive to Win7 and Leopard. As I want to keep the current bootloader, could I create a new entry for Leopard and point it to a chain0 file and install that way or do I have to do this after install?

3) Do I have to enable AHCI in the BIOS to make it work?

4) Can someone point me to a guide or give me a quick run-through of installing Leopard with Boot-132. The current guides seem confusing and some look like they are meant for existing installations...etc.

Specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz (Q6600)

Asus Maximus Formula

OCZ Reaper HPC 2x2GB 800MHz

Gigabyte Geforce 9800GTX 512MB

2 x Seagate SATA HDDs (Vista on one, Leopard/Win7 on another)

1 x WD PATA HDD

SATA DVD Burner

EDIT: Could a mod please delete this topic if seen. I gave up on using the Boot-132 method as I was unsure on how to begin and didn't receive any response in this thread. I have successfully installed 10.5.6 with the iDeneb 1.4 distro.
