jciarlan
Hey all, I've been working to get an updated version of leo on my laptop (Compaq 8510W). I used iAtkos 5i for the install, and after a lot of searching I have pretty much everything working, except for one thing that's bugging me. After the spinning gear apple screen, the blue screen will come up and will stay there for 5 minutes at which point the desktop will load. The system.log shows: kernel[0]: NVDA::powerStateWillChangeTo(0x61cd000, NVDA, 2 -> 1) timed out after 45101 ms I'm going to guess that the 45101 ms timeout is why it's taking 5 minutes to load - anyone know how to fix this? the only thing I did with the power was install the voodoo battery detector, but this was going on before then Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/153797-5-minute-blue-screen-wait-during-boot/ Share on other sites
jciarlan
I've been doing some more research - seems this means the driver NVDA is causing a timeout... I think it's the NVInject driver - I'll try disabling some things Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/153797-5-minute-blue-screen-wait-during-boot/#findComment-1085102 Share on other sites
jciarlan
disabling things went horribly wrong... had to end up going in through -s to restore some kexts... bump for ideas. I've already tried putting the newest NVInjectGO kext and it didn't help, my video card is a quadro 570M if it matters.
