x986123
Now, go grab yourself a copy of iPC 10.5.6 PPF5. I can't really tell you where. While it's downloading, go partition your hard drive or grab a second one. External will work too! Grab a coffee because I am seeding for TPB file above and it will go by fast. Now, once you've burnt the disk, insert it into your DVD/Blu-ray drive and reboot. Go into the bios by pressing delete. STOP! before you make an changes, check if it is revision 1.3!! IMPORTANT! Next, Make sure these settings in the bios are set like this: Advanced CPU features (Press f4 to see extra) Execute Bit: Enabled C1E: Disabled CPU TM Function: Disabled Hpet: Enabled (Important or doesn't boot with all cores) Cell Menu: Spread Spectrum: Disable (I've found less stability issues) Boot Order: (DVD/Blu-Ray) (HDD leopard is going to be on) Now boot of the disk with these setting if you want higher resolution: Example: "Graphics mode"="1680x1050x32@60" After @ is the refresh rate, after resolution is the color depth. Once the DVD boots, which takes about 5 minutes depending on your DVD drive speed. Once it boots go into Disk Utilities in the utilities section of the menubar. click on the partition or hard drive you will format. (CAREFUL! Do not format your windows or linux!) Go to Erase section in disk utilities and select HFS+ (journaled) and rename it. Press Erase! After its done I recommend you do a "Verify" then close. Continue to screen where it says "Customize" and press it. To get the Mobo working with ethernet, select these options: *Voodoo 9.5.0 Kernel *Nforce Ethernet If you choose the Voodoo kernel SELECT THE SEATBELT.KEXT from the fixes! The rest is up to you, select your video card driver and audio (If available) In Applications I recommend you select OSx86 Tools and Z updater and Kext Helper and maybe Pacifist. Press next, and install! Skip the DVD check! Once it reboots, take the DVD out, and you will see a bootloader. The selected one is Leopard, the one below or above should be Windows/Linux. put the selection on Leopard and type this ONLY if you have no video driver... With the Quotes! "Graphics mode"="1680x1050x32@60" (put your own) Boot! That is it! Congratz! My graphic card doesnt work fully because its a GTX 260. I have no support with my X-FI either... But a USB Audio Stick or internal PCI sound card. Good luck with your hackintosh!
